As a seasoned food critic and a proud Londoner, my recent stay at the Rogac in Omis was unexpectedly good. Initially assuming it would be just another stopover on our Croatian journey, I was pleased to discover that this hotel delivered far beyond mere essentials. The room was modern and impeccably clean, complete with air conditioning and a terrace that provided a stunning beach view-ideal for unwinding after a long drive. The complimentary Wi-Fi worked seamlessly, which made planning our next day's adventure a breeze. What stood out was the restaurant. During our stay, we tried the fish platter and were pleasantly surprised to find it fresh and well-prepared. For €59, including a side, this was really good value for money in comparison to other dining options in Croatia. The attentive staff, particularly Anna-Marie, added to the experience with her personable service and knowledge of the menu. The breakfast the following morning-offering fresh fruit, cold cuts, and freshly squeezed orange juice-was a superb start to the day. I'd say that the Rogac offers a commendable blend of luxury and value that makes it worth considering for anyone traveling through the area.
